看过一个理论，说随着年龄的增长，人之所以会觉得时间流逝得越来越快，是因为大脑本质上是一个预测机器，它倾向于只关注并记忆那些新奇和令人惊讶的事物。如果一天里有很多新奇的信息涌现，回忆起来，这一天也会很丰富，有很多的时间片段。反之，如果只是单调的重复，则可能没有什么记忆点留存下来。
