Gmail 将从明年 1 月起停止支持基本 HTML 视图。基本 HTML 视图旨在解决 Gmail 无法加载或加载太慢的问题——比如浏览器不被支持或网速太慢，它只包含 Gmail 基本功能，没有新版本 Gmail 加入的日益臃肿的与邮件无关的功能，如聊天、拼写检查、富文本格式，等等。如果以后用户还会遇到加载问题，Google 建议用户使用 Gmail 应用或邮件客户端。
